Hagen, Patricia Ann (27 September 1939 – 11 February 1996)

Patricia Ann Hagen, 56, of Neillsville, passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit on Feb. 11, 1996.

The body will lay in state at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, from 6-9 p.m., and again on Wednesday until time of services.

Patricia was born Sept. 27, 1939, to Albert and Mildred (King) Miller, in Neillsville. She married Jesse Hagen on July 19, 1958, at the United Methodist Church in Neillsville. She attended Neillsville Schools. Patricia finished school, graduating in 1957.

After her marriage to Jesse, she worked as a nurse’s aide at Neillsville Memorial Hospital until 1961. They moved to their present address about 30 years ago and have resided there ever since. She was a homemaker and she baby-sat for her four grandchildren at the present time. She entered the hospital approximately two weeks ago and entered the hospice care unit on Saturday, Feb. 10.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse; two sons: Rick Hagen, of Germany; Tim Hagen of Neillsville; two daughters: Jill (Russell) Opelt, and Lori (Doug) Opelt, both of Neillsville; four grandchildren: Tony, Kayla, Daniel and Lindsey Opelt, all of Neillsville; her mother; brothers and sisters: Albert (Nancy) Miller, of Cincinnati, Oh.; Donald Miller of Thorp, Duane “Joe” (Dorothy) of Marshfield, Mrs. John (Deloris) Genteman of Marshfield, Mrs. Judy Grap of Neillsville, and Mrs. Kasimir “Bish” (Sandra) Kolano of Neillsville.

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Barb Oldham, and one brother, Bruce Miller.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, with the Rev. Timothy Biebert officiating. Burial will be in Neillsville City Cemetery and nephews will served as pallbearers.
