Katherine (9 Mar 1883 - 27 OCT 1926) Mrs. Katherine
Ignowski, who passed away Wednesday at midnight, Oct. 27th, 1926,
was born at Anthren, Penn., March 9th, 1883. She came to Thorp,
Clark County, Wis. with her parents when she was 12 years of age.
On July 9, 1901, she was united in marriage to Vincent Ignowski. In
1902 they moved to Lemont, Ill. In 1918 they moved back to Thorp
and purchased a farm south of Zukowski's Corner, where she resided
until her death. To this union six
children were born. One died at Lemont, Ill. The deceased was
43 years, 7 months and 18 days old. She was of a very cheerful and
sunny disposition and will be missed by all. The funeral was
held Saturday at 10 o'clock at St. Hedwig's Church and was largely
attended. She leaves to
mourn her untimely death, her husband, two daughters, Josephine and
John Rogalski, three sons, Joe, John and Michael, four
grandchildren, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lesniewski, three
sisters, Mrs. M. Jasinek, Mrs. M. Grajkowski of Thorp, Mrs. Stanley
Zuzelski of Milwaukee, five brothers, Joe of St. Paul, John of
Owen, Michael of Milwaukee, Adam and Anton of Thorp. They all
attended the funeral. May her soul rest
