Malinowski, George (1829 - 6 NOV 1926)
George Malinowski, who passed away Saturday at 2 a.m., Nov. 6th, 1926, was born in Lithuania in 1829.
On Feb. 14, 1876, he was united in marriage to Miss Charlotte Barkowski of Lithuania. To this union six children were born. Three died in infancy.
In 1892, April the 17th, he came to Thorp, Clark County, Wis., and in 1896 purchased a farm near Withee, where he resided until his death.
The deceased was 97 years old.
He leaves to mourn, his aged wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ignatz Wojtkiewicz of thorp, two sons, Ben and Anton of Withee, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Church Monday morning at 10 o'clock, Father Kulig officiating.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Thomas Ferenc and son Junior, and Joseph Wojtkiewicz of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Sapetta and daughter Irene, of Redville, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Muskowski of Athens.
