(23 Feb 1902 - 13 NOV 1926) Mrs. Laura
Albrecht, wife of Arthur Albrecht, of the town of Worden, Clark
County, Wis., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13th, 1926, at three
o'clock, after a prolonged illness covering about two years, and a
hard fought battle with the much dreaded and stubborn disease,
tuberculosis. After treatment with all local physicians failed, she
was transferred to Mt. Washington Sanitorium at Eau Claire, where
she remained until the end came. Laura Peterson was
born in the township of Sigel, Feb. 23, 1902, and was one of a
family of seven children, three brothers and four sisters surviving
her, namely, Lawrence, Arthur, Lillian and Viola, of Cadott,
Willard, Mrs. Wm. Nagle of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Theo. Woldt of
Bateman. She also leaves,
besides her husband, three children, Lorin, aged 5 years, Irene,
aged 4 years and Lauretta, aged 2 years, her father and Mother, Mr.
and Mrs. J. J. Peterson. Funeral services
were held at the Lutheran Church at Cadott, conducted by rev.
Buebeck, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment following in
the nearby cemetery. Mrs. Albrecht was
a kind neighbor, a devoted wife and mother, the family and home
being uppermost in her mind. She will be greatly missed by all who
