(13 Augl 1893 - 27 Dec 1926) Mrs. Arnold
Gullikson arrived here with the remains of her husband Friday from
Georgetown, Idaho, where they went Oct. 30, 1926, to seek a better
climate for Mr. Gullikson. Arnold Jerome Gullikson was born Aug.
13, 1893, in the town of New Hope. His parents were Mr. and Mrs.
Oluf Gullikson, who later moved to Iola, where Arnold spent his
childhood, and July 3, 1916, was married to Ada Bobbe of Amherst.
He purchased a farm near Thorp, Clark County, Wis., where they made
their home and lived very happily. His health has been failing for
more than a year and he passed away on Dec. 27, 1926, at the age of
thirty-three years, four months and fourteen days, and leaves to

two children, Jeanette, nine, and Eugene, about six years of age,
his mother, Mrs. Nettie Gullikson, two brothers, Lyle, now of
Marshall, Minn., and Sidney of Milwaukee, Wis., and grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Swenson, and a host of other relatives and
friends. Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon from the
J. F. Swenson home, to Our Savior's Church, where Arnold was
confirmed, Rev. J. Mathieson officiating. The remains were laid to
rest beside his father, Clarence, and his sister, who preceded him in
death a number of years ago. Six of his cousins, Arlie, Morris,
Leo, Arthur, Irving and Lloyd Gullikson, acted as pallbearers. The
flower girls were Marrita Swenson and Boletta Gullikson. Floral
offerings were most beautiful. Relatives from out of town who
attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Gullikson and
children, Arlie, Morris, Leo, and Boletta of Stevens Point; Mr. and
Mrs. Gullikson and sons, Lloyd of Rosholt, and Irving of Stevens
