Numerous reports were flying about Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to the effect that Rev. G. C. Andrews and James Whitmore were dying and dead, but they were almost without foundation, except that the latter has been quite ill, and Uncle George has been confined to the house for a few days. Such reports show how easy it is for anything of a sensational nature to be enlarged and exaggerated.
