Finnegan, Mr./Mrs. Patrick (50th - 22 Augl 1926)
Sunday, Aug. 22, 1926, witnessed a joyous family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Finnegan, when five children and twelve grandchildren gathered to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Finnegan's wedding.
Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taggart and Mr. and Mrs. John Kobielus and children of Ladysmith, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Finnegan of Chicago, Mrs. Theo. Finnegan and children of Humbird, Wis., Sister Mary Isabel S.S.N.D. of Menasha, Wis., and Mrs. George Beller Jr. and children of Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Finnegan were married at St. John's Church, Morrison, Wis., after which they resided for ten years at Wrightstown, Wis., where Mr. Finnegan conducted an undertaking establishment. From Wrightstown the family moved to South Kaukauna, Wis. For thirteen years Mr. Finnegan worked at his trade of carpenter at Kaukauna, and then moved his family to their present home at Thorp, Clark County, Wis., where they have resided for the past twenty-six years.
Nine children blessed their union, of whom five are still living. Three children died in infancy, while William, the oldest son, passed away five years ago.
