Blank Truvia E. (9 NOV 1926)
A quiet wedding took place at Mattoon, Wis., Saturday afternoon, Nov. 6, 1926, when Miss Truvia Esther blank of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), became the bride of Mr. Fred C. Dettmering, also of this village. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. Jensen of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Almeda Blank, and the groom by his nephew, Norman Dettmering, of Brokaw, Wis.
They returned to Thorp that same evening, where a wedding dinner was served to the immediate family at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Eunice Blank.
They left on the night train for a short visit at Fond du Lac and Waukesha, Wis.
Their numerous friends tender sincere congratulations.
They will reside here where Mr. Dettmering holds a position as manager of the Kraft Co's. cheese warehouse.
