82, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, June 2, at the Sacred Heart
Hospital in Eau Claire. Marian Rose
Augusta Kren was born on April 14, 1922 in Neillsville, the
daughter of William and Susan (Seidelman) Puttkamer. She graduated
from Neillsville High School in 1940 and then worked at the
American Stores Condensery and as a secretary at the Neillsville
High School before her marriage. She was united in marriage to
Walter Kren on April 17, 1943 in Neillsville and then worked as a
homemaker raising her family. Marian was a
member of the United Church of Christ. She was an avid birdwatcher
and she enjoyed her flowers. She loved her grandchildren and great
grandchildren very much. She is survived by
two daughters, Judy Siebert, of Eau Claire and Peggy (Jon)
Baymiller, of Johnston, Iowa; one son, Richard (Sandra) Kren, of
Watertown; 12 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; one sister,
Sueann Binder, of Wisconsin Dells; two brothers, Bill (Joan)
Puttkamer, of Lake Mills and James Schultz, of Neillsville. Marian
is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service
for Marian was held Saturday, June 5, at the Gesche Funeral Home in
Neillsville. Pastor James Mohr officiated. Music was provided by
Deon Spangler, organist and Jordyn Quast, soloist. Interment was in
the Neillsville City Cemetery. Honorary casket
bearers were: Scott and Tony Siebert, David, Kevin and Daniel Kren
and Harrison Baymiller. The Gesche Funeral
