Lenz, Lorraine B. (14 January 1934 – 5 May 2022)
Lorraine B. (Rhodes) Lenz, 88, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022
Lorraine Lenz was born on January 14, 1934, in Wisconsin to Victor and Hilda
(Marg) Rhodes. She graduated from Marshfield High School on June 2, 1952. She
met the love of her life, Jack Lenz, at the Silver Dome Ballroom in Neillsville,
Wisconsin. On October 2, 1954, they were united in marriage at Christ Lutheran
Church in Marshfield.
Lorraine worked at Adler Theatre Company and J.C. Penney. She was a member of
Christ Lutheran Church and it's Alter Guild. She was a former Sunday school
teacher. She volunteered for Soup or Socks. She enjoyed spending time with her
family and was a good provider, her family always came first. She loved to cook
and bake, and her family and friends were the lucky ones to receive these
treats. She will always be remembered for her kind and loving heart.
She is survived by her children, David (Kathy), Sue (Steve) Binder, Daniel
(Terri), and Dewey (Mary). Her grandchildren, Bob Lenz, Brad (Kerry) Lenz, Katie
(Michael) Tamas, Brandon (Brandi), Becky, Brent (Nicole), Brittney Binder, Casey
(William) Schneider and Jake (Tiffany) Lenz. She has ten great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a brother, Raymond Rhodes, of Hewitt and sister, Nola
Hagedorn, of Marshfield.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her parents, Victor and
Hilda Rhodes, brother, Donald Rhodes, sister, Vivian Paasch, and many in-laws.
. A visitation will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. The service will start at
Noon with Pastor Mark Krueger officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside
Cemetery where Bob and Brad Lenz, Brandon and Brent Binder, Jake Lenz, and Steve
Binder will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be designated in Lorraine's name to Christ Lutheran Church or the
charity of your choice.
