In 1905, William H. Sommers and his twenty-one year old wife, Julia, were living in a rented home, beside a boarding house, in Colby, Clark Co., Wisconsin. They were both born in Wisconsin, as was her mother. His parents and her father were natives of Germany. William and Julia were the parents of a one year old son, Raymond (b. 17-May-1904, died Jul-1985 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona). They ran a general merchandise store and worked full-time.

William and Julia
Sommer were my great-great grandparents. I am currently working on
finding more information pertaining to this section of my
family.
William Herman Sommer and Julia Ovida Ramberg had five children: Raymond W., Sylvan, Rubert B. and Ruby Louise (twins), and Vernice Hilda.
