& Alice
Contact: Transcriber
Seth & Alice Daines were living in a home they'd purchased in Colby, Clark Co., WI. He was thirty-four and she was two years younger. They were the parents of three daughters: six-year-old Blanch; and two-year-old twins, Clara and Josephine. Seventy-six year old, widowed Grandfather, Hatley (Daines?), also lived with them. Seth made his living shoeing horses and was employed full time with that occupation. He and both his parents were born in Ohio, as was his wife, Alice, and her parents. Hatley's parents were born in England and he was retired at that time.
In 1930, Seth and Alice were residing in Marathon Co. Hull Township, WI. A son, Clifford (age 23), was the only off-spring listed as living with them at that time.
