In 1905, fourty-one year old, Mathew Keans was a general merchant in Colby, WI. His wife, Katherine, was thirty-eight. Both their father's were natives of Germany and his mother was born in Pennsylvania while her's was born in Wisconsin. They were the parents of two teenage daughters: fifteen year old Laurelda and thirteen year old Gabriella. They also had an eight year old son, Celeters.
A Bar Outfit Manager, thirty-one year old, Gerrard J. Katedy (Katldy?) also lived in the family's rented home. He was Wisconsin born to French natives.
