Anding, Patricia Jean (16 August 1931 – 6 May 2022)
Patricia Anding, age 90, of Granton, died Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Marshfield
Health Services Nursing Home in Marshfield.
Patricia Jean Dux was born on August 16, 1931, in Withee, the daughter of Alfred
and Ellen (Schwarze) Dux. She was united in marriage to Duane Charles Anding on
April 29, 1950, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. They farmed in the
town of Lynn on the family farm for many years. It was a century farm that had
been in Duane’s family going back to his great-great-grandparents. Duane was
awarded a “Farmer of the Year” award and received a “First Place” medal from the
State of Wisconsin for his maple syrup. After retiring from farming, they moved
to Granton road. Duane died on May 1, 2018, and the house was just sold
recently.
Pat was a member of the Zion Lutheran Missouri Synod Church in Granton. She also
belonged to the church’s ladies aid for many years. She was a member of the Lynn
Birthday Club. She loved crocheting and quilting and crafting in general. She
also enjoyed tending to her flowers and watching her birds.
She is survived by three children, Mark (Yvonne) Anding of Granton, Beth (Leroy)
Ludovic of Neillsville, and Anna (Kevin) Engevold of Granton, six grandchildren,
many great-grandchildren, a brother, Jeffrey (Jackie) Dux of Dodgeville, and
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Evelyn Dimeo, a brother,
Kenneth Dux, a brother-in-law, Arnold Anding and sisters-in-law, Erma Terman,
and Margaret “Peggy” Dux.
A Memorial Service for both Patricia and Duane will be held at 11:00 a.m.,
Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor
Daniel Schoessow will officiate. Music will be provided by Caroline Helm,
organist. Interment will be in the Town of Lynn Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
