Peter N. Krarup Buried At Nazareth Cemetery

Services were held last Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral home for Peter N. Krarup, 83, route 1, Owen, whose death, following a stroke, occurred last Wednesday.

The Rev. Robert Sullivan, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, officiated and burial was made in the Nazareth Lutheran cemetery.

Mr. Krarup was born May 20, 1888 in Cedar Falls, Iowa and came to the Owen area in 1900. He had been employed at a lumber company and box factory here and had operated a farm for many years. He was married to Marie Jensen, Sept. 19, 1919 in Withee. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1969. He was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Harold, Owen; three daughters, Mrs. Helga Pickett, Sumter, S.C.; Mrs. John (Alma) Warns Jr., Withee; and Mrs. Richard (Pearl) Hanson, Cedar Falls, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
