Clapper, Edgar J. (25 Dec 1875 - 20 OCT 1928)
Edgar Joseph Clapper was born in Manawa, Wis., Dec. 25, 1875 and died at Glasgow, Mont., Oct. 20, 1928, of heart trouble.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Clapper, who came to Thorp, Clark County, Wis. in 1895. On Nov. 22, 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Nettie Johnson. To this union four daughters were born. For the past fifteen years the family has made their home at St. Paul, where they maintained a grocery store.
Deceased is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. Eva Berggren, Mrs. Gertrude Metcalf and Margaret and Geraldine Clapper, all of St. Paul, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Dawes of Wyoming, Ia., and Mrs. Carl Schultz of Birnamwood, Wis.
Mr. Clapper was a member of the Masonic Lodge for twenty-two years. This order conducted the funeral at St. Paul, Oct. 25th, interment following in the Roselawn Cemetery.
