Lindgren, Stina (1864 - 10 Apr 1929)

The body of Mrs. Stina Lindgren, a widow, aged 65 years, was found in her farm home a mile and a half northeast of Eidsvold, Clark County, Wis., on Wednesday of last week by a neighbor named John Nelson. Her clothing was badly torn and her face was bruised somewhat. Deceased had lived alone on her forty acre farm for the past twenty-five years. Whether the woman was murdered or died from some other cause is still a mystery. Sheriff Wm. Bradford, district attorney V. H. Nehs and the county coroner were called and investigated the affair. A coroner's jury empanelled decided her death by violence after being criminally assaulted by an unknown person. A little money found in the house was left untouched.
