Fischer, Frances E. (7 OCT 1923 - 27 Jul 1929)

Frances Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Fischer, was born in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis. on Oct. 7th, 1923, and passed away July 27th, 1929, at the age of 5 years, 9 months and 20 days.

The little one was taken to the hospital Thursday morning and operated on immediately for appendicitis. At three a.m. Saturday she passed to her heavenly reward. The remains were brought to Thorp by undertaker John G. Bogumill, where it was prepared for burial and then taken to the home of F. W. Fischer.

Surviving relatives are her parents, two brothers, Henry and Charles, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Jiras of Baldwin, N.D., and Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Fischer of Thorp.

The funeral was held on Tuesday at 9:30 at St. Bernard's Church, Rev. Father Muckerheide officiating, interment following in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Those acting as pallbearers were: Allen Hubbard, Clyde Misfeldt, Bernard Haas and Melbourne Haas. The flower girls were Annabelle Haas, Annabel Snyder, Agnella Leiby and Verla Stockel.

The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Jiras and Joe Jiras of Baldwin, N.D., and Janet Fischer of Kaukauna.
