Chudy, Joseph (15 DEC 1888 - 12 Augl 1929)

Joseph Chudy died at his home in the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis. on Monday, Aug. 12, 1929, after a lingering illness as a result of a tumor. Deceased was born in Poland on Dec. 15, 1888, and came to America in 1906. He was united in marriage at the age of twenty-three to Miss Victoria Piershala at Chicago, who with three sons, Stanley, Robert and Walter, survived his untimely death.

The funeral took place on Friday morning last from St. Hedwig's Church, Father Francis Kulig officiating, interment following the services in the nearby cemetery.

Relatives from Chicago who attended the funeral of Joseph Chudy late deceased, Friday, were Andrew Chudy, brother; Mrs. Andrew Chudy; Stanley Chudy, half-brother; Mrs. Wrubel and Mrs. Jet, cousins. All left for Chicago on the noon train, Saturday, except Andrew Chudy who will remain here for a few weeks.
