Mrs. Amelia Wink passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Mullenbach, in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1930, aged 82 years, 1 month and 28 days. Deceased was born in Germany and came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Henke at the age of twelve years, who fist located in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co. She was united in marriage at the age of twenty-four years to Mr. Christopher Wink and moved to Thorp in 1889. Eight children blessed this union as follows: Elizabeth, Bertha, the latter died at the age of 20, Anna, Joseph, Rosa, the latter died at the age of 14, Albert, Justina, Peter, the latter died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death in 1927 at the age of 78. Deceased was taken ill in April 1929, and in November became helpless until the end. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 31 from St. Bernard's Church, Father A.M. Muckerheide officiating, interment following the services in the Catholic Cemetery.
