Dranginis, Sophie (16 Apr 1864 - 6 Feb 1930)

Mrs. Sophie Dranginis, nee Hoffman, wife of Mr. Julian Dranginis, died quite suddenly at her home in the town of Reseburg, Clark County Wis., of excessive blood pressure, on Thursday, Feb. 6, 1930. Deceased was born in Poland on April 16, 1864 and came to America in 1888, residing in Pennsylvania for a time, where she was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph Dranginis. Later moving to Chicago, and came to Thorp in 1898, which has since been her home. She leaves to mourn her demise, her husband and five children, three sons, John, Frank and Henry, of Thorp, and two daughters, Annie of Thorp and Mrs. Stanley Budzinski of Scottville, Mich.; also eight grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Monday, Feb 10 at ten o'clock A.m. at St. Hedwig's Church, Rev F. A Kulig conducting the services. Interment followed in the Parish Cemetery.
