Amelia Hardy Abeel was born March 7, 1871 in Richland Co., Wis. and passed away at her home in Waukesha, Jan. 29, 1930. She had been in poor health for several years. She leaves a husband, one son, one granddaughter, three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Burrington of Thorp, Clark county, Wis., Mrs. Wm. Omen of Spencer, Mrs. James Frazer of Richland Center, five brothers, S. P. Hardy of Center view, Mo., F. E. Hardy of Edgemont, S.D., I. A. Hardy of Richland Center, C. L. and G. R. Hardy of Thorp. Those from a distance who attended the funeral held at Waukesha Saturday, Feb. 1st were Ray Burrington of Cooper, S.D., Mrs. Rosa Burrington of Thorp and Mrs. Wm. Omen of Spencer. The body was laid to rest in the Waukesha Cemetery.
