Javar, Anna (Marriage - 21 May 1930)
Mr. Luis Perkovitch and Miss Anna Javar were married at the Catholic Church at Chili Wednesday morning, May 21. They were attended by Miss Anna and Mr. Pete Matanich. In the evening they entertained a large number of neighbors and friends at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Tom Paun, where a grand wedding dinner was serve to over a hundred guests. They were the recipients of many nice and useful gifts. The evening was spent in visiting and dancing.
The groom is well known here, but the bride, a charming young lady, has just recently come from Europe. She has a lovable disposition and will soon make friends with all whom she has meet. They are at present visiting among relatives, and have not decided whether they will buy a farm and go to farming or go back to Chicago, where he has a good trade. We wish them success in whatever they undertake.
