-Turner, Gladys (13 June 1917 - 13 Jan. 1930)
Gladys Turner, daughter of Guy Turner of Oshkosh, died Jan. 13 at the General Hospital in Madison, where she had been a patient since Sept. 26. Here death was due to a complication of ailments beginning with a sprained ankle in October 1927.
Gladys was born at Watertown, S. D., June 13, 1917, and moved with her father to Whitewater in 1922. In 1928 they moved to Oshkosh. She was a loving and patient child through her two years of invalidism. The remains were taken to Oshkosh where short funeral services were held by Rev. S. Adams, and then brought to Neillsville for burial, services being held here at the Lowe Funeral home on Thursday, Rev. Longenecker officiating.
She is survived by her father, one brother Vernon and two sisters, Bernice and Vivian at home. The mother died in 1920. She was Miss Verna Clintsman of the town of Weston before her marriage. Mr. Turner, who came here with the body of his child, remained a few days to visit at the Clintsman home and with other friends here.
