Kleinschmidt, William Herbert (2 Dec. 1895 - 30 April 1930)

William Herbert Kleinschmidt died at the Wisconsin Memorial hospital in Madison, Wednesday morning, April 30, after a lingering illness.

He was born in the town of Lynn, Dec. 2, 1895, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kleinschmidt. He grew to manhood on the home farm and enlisted for service in the navy during the World War. On returning from his service his health was much impaired and for more than eight years he has been an invalid and spent most of those years in Veterans’ hospitals.

Before his health failed he was an active energetic young man, very helpful in the home work and had many friends in the community.

His mother died in March 18, 1930; and he is survived by his father, and three sisters: Leona, Mrs. W. J. Cormey of Waukesha; Lula, Mrs. Elmer C. Anderson of Stanley; Stella, Mrs. Knute Christianson of the town of Lynn.

The body was brought home from burial, the funeral being held Saturday afternoon at the Nasonville Presbyterian church, Rev. Anderson officiating. The pall bearers were members of the Neillsville Service Company; a firing squad from the Company also attending to do military honors at the grave.
