Doberstein, Dagmar (3 July 1909 - 6 October 1983)

ABBOTSFORD - Mrs. Randolph (Dagmar) Doberstein, 74, No. 6 Green Vista Housing, Abbotsford, died Thursday at her residence, where she had been living the past two years.

Services will be Tuesday at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford. The Rev. Jeff Johnson of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Holway, will officiate. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery.

The former Dagmar Olson was born July 3, 1909 in the Town of Little Black, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Marie) Olson. She received her education in Medford area schools.

She was married to Randolph Doberstein April 19, 1937 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He died August 9, 1959. The couple farmed in the Town of Holway. In 1960 she moved to Owen, where she owned and operated the Soo Cafe, William Olson until retiring in 1971. She then moved to the Colby area.

A member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, Mrs. Doberstein is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Miller of Unity; a son, William R. Doberstein Sr. of Medford; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Hierlmeier of Rib Lake, Mrs. Ed (Hilda) Doberstein of Spalding, Michigan; and three brothers, William Olson of Spalding, Nels Olson of Withee and Christian of Forrest Lake, Minnesota.
