LOYAL - A number of area residents attended the first picnic and award
presentation of the Loyal Mini-Rodders recently.
The club is open to persons interested in mini-rod and modified tractor pulling.
The point holders receiving trophies in the 16,000-pound class were, in order of
finish: Russ Palmerton, Abbotsford; Les Kauth, Loyal; Dave Pieper, Loyal and
Gary Palmerton, Spencer, tied; Kerry Gadke, Greenwood, and Rick Oestrich, Loyal.
Top point holders earning trophies for the 1,700-pound class were Gadke; Judy
Palmerton, Abbotsford; Pieper; Kauth; Gary Palmerton and Keith Weymiller.
