Cynthia Jean Schlough and Kenneth Lee Dyre Jr. were married September at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, with the Rev. Michael Mertens officiating.

Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Schlough of Route 2, Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dyre Sr. of Route 1, Greenwood.

Those providing nuptial music were Ann Zdun, guitarist; Margaret Gosar, organist; Ann Zdun, Nancy Rademan, Margaret Gosar and Nadine Schlough, vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a gown of chantilly lace over satin, full bouffant skirt with lace. She carried rust, brown and cream colored silk carnations and daisies, with blue forget-me-nots and white roses.

Cindy Plautz of Greenwood was maid of honor. Other bridal attendants were Susan Schlough of Menomonie, Rose Rakovec of Altoona, Sharon Plautz of Winter Park, Florida, Glenda Townsend of Loyal and Karen Raymark of Ironwood.

They wore knit rust, brown and cream silk floor-length dresses with cream colored lace and sash. They carried rust, brown and cream colored silk carnations and daisies, with blue forget-me-nots.

Rod Ashbeck of Greenwood was best man. Groomsmen Bob Rondorf, John Gardner, Vern Miller, Randy Hendrickson and Gary Drews were all of Greenwood. Seating wedding guests were Scott Nikolai of Berlin, Val Baughman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Doug Schlough and Kevin Schlough, both of Greenwood.

A reception and dance were at the Greenwood Legion Hall and a dinner was served at St. Mary's Church Hall.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Her husband attended Greenwood High School and is a dairy farmer.

They are taking a wedding trip to Hawaii and will reside on Route 1, Greenwood.
