Milligan, Henrietta (22 Feb 1855 - 16 Sep 1923)
Henrietta Milligan was born at Hartford, Washington Co., Wis., Feb 22, 1855, and died at her home in this village Sept. 16th, 1923. She came to Clark County, Wis. with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Lyon, when 12 years of age, and settled on the farm now owned by C. B. Esselman. On May 21st, 1870 she was married to Oliver Milligan, who preceded her in death March 7th, 1923. She was the mother ten children, six of whom survive her: Will and Harry of Washington; Frank of Montana; Hugh of Oregon; Fred of Stanley, Wis., and Mrs. Dan Castner of Loyal.
Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church for more than 30 years, and was also an active member of the Relief Corps: W.C.T.U. and Hope Camp No. 819: R.N. of A.
She leaves to mourn her loss besides six children, seven grandchildren, two brothers, Angelo Lyon of Neillsville and W. L. Lyon of Loyal, and a host of friends.
The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. James officiating. The services at the grave were conducted by the Royal Neighbors.
