Vogel, Mable (14 MAR 1901 - 7 Mar 1924)
The community was shocked on Saturday to learn that Mrs. Ray Vogel had passed to the great beyond on Friday evening, death being caused by pneumonia. Although she had not been well for the past two years, yet her death came unexpectedly.
Mable Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baker, was born at Hammond, Ind. On March 14, 1901 and died at her home in West Beaver, Clark County, Wis., March 7th, 1923. On Sept. 12, 1920 she was married to Ray Vogel, who with two small children survive. She is also survived by her parents and two sisters, besides many other relatives and a host of friends.
By her death the uncertainty of human life is again most forcibly brought to mind. Mrs. Vogel was of a cheerful and happy disposition, which made her a favorite with those who knew her. The funeral services were held at the West Beaver Church at 10 o'clock Monday forenoon, Rev. W. J. James officiating. She was laid to rest in the Dodgeville Cemetery.
