St. Balthasar's Catholic Church was the scene of a quiet wedding at six a.m. Monday morning, July 16, 1923, when Wm. Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Murphy, and Miss Isabelle Roth of Spirit Lake, Ia., were united in marriage by Rev. Stenz of Marshfield, assisted by Rev. Zinthafer, cousin of the groom. The bride was attired in Stone Gray Canton Crepe and a black hat. She was attended by Miss Dora Devlin as bridesmaid. Mr. Murphy was attended by his brother, Mr. Joseph Murphy of Milwaukee as best man. Breakfast was served to the wedding party at the home of the groom. They left by auto for a trip to the Dells and then to Spirit Lake, Iowa, the home of the bride. Both young people are well known her and have the best wishes of their many friends.
