Fairchild: Mrs. Martha Rudinski who has been at work in Eau Claire came home Thursday. Geo. Bovee reports business good up at Coxie. He has put in a general store at that place. Mrs. Jos. Emer, of Fairview, died Tuesday morning, after a week’s illness, age 68 years. Matt Findale, Jr., had the misfortune to saw his hand quite badly last Saturday at Smith’s saw mill. E. Westagoord of Levis, brought to the Big Store fifteen bushels of that early dent corn the first of the week. Miss Palms, of Tioga, was a business caller here last week. She has charge of her father’s store at Tioga. Emory Brunson, who has been hauling cream for the Humbird creamery for the last four years, was in our city Tuesday. Chas. Flick went to the Sacred Heart hospital in Eau Claire last week and had as operation. He is getting along as well as could be expected. Mr. Nick Marte died Wednesday afternoon at half past four. He had been sick about a week with pneumonia. Mr. Marte was about 70 years of age. He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters.
