Louis Lang has begun the foundation for a new barn on his farm east of town. J. Baumgartner has completed his job of mason work at the Falls and has returned home. C. B. Travis received a fall on Wednesday afternoon which might have proven more injurious than it did. Mr. Travis was standing on his wagon driving the team when one of the tugs broke and he was jerked off the wagon by the reins falling headforemost onto a barbed wire fence. He received two bad cuts on the nose and forehead, but was otherwise uninjured by the fall. A. F. Hahn has a new boat on Lake Emerson.
