Mrs. Earl Bowman died at the home of her son L. E. Bowman Saturday morning after a brief illness.
Mary Lawrence was born in New York State, July 4, 1850. On Augl 16, 1867 she was united in marriage to earl Bowman, at Waterville, Minn., who to this union was born six children, five of who are still living.
Mr. and Mrs. Bowman were among the early settlers of Clark County, Wis., coming here forty-eight years ago.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Methodist Church and interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by five children: William A. of Owen, Harry A. of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. R. K. Stevens and Lawrence of Loyal, Charles E. of Peshtigo and 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Edith preceded her mother in death.
The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of their friends and neighbors in their bereavement.
