Libby Estella Miller was born Jan. 7, 1869 at Prairie Du Chien, Wis. With her parents she moved to Hull, Wis. in 1883, where she was married in 1885 to David Abel.
They lived in Rock Valley, Iowa until 1895 when they moved to Toledo, Iowa. From there they moved to Loyal, Wis. in 1920, where she lived at the time of her death on Saturday, Dec. 12, 1925.
To this union were born four children one child dying in infancy. She is survived by her husband David Abel of Loyal, Wis., three children, Harry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. George Yilek of Granton, Wis., and William of Spencer, Wis. Also her mother Mrs. G. A. Miller of Ocheyedan, Iowa. Two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Cobb of Eldora, Iowa and Mrs. Harriet Sletcher of Ocheyedan, Iowa. Two brothers, E. T. Miller of Greenwood, Wis., and N. C. Miller of Des Moines, Iowa. Also five grandchildren. She was sick nearly a year. Very patient through all he suffering. Her death was a relief from great pain.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon and interment took place at the Loyal Cemetery.
