Wenzel, Louis Sr. (19 Mar 1859 - 30 Dec 1917)

Mrs. Louis Wenzel Sr. was born in Germany March 19, 1859 and died at his home in this village Dec. 30, 1917, aged 58 years, 9 mon., and 11 days.

Mr. Wenzel was married in 1885 to Miss Minnie Breit of Appleton. They lived in Hewitt until nineteen years ago, when they moved to Loyal where he was since resided. He is survived by two sons Edward and Louis Jr. of Loyal, three daughters Mrs. F. H. Blaisdell of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. A.M. Robell of Marshfield and Miss Leona Wenzel at home, besides other relatives and a large number of friends. The deceased was a man that had the respect of all.

The funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at the Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph F. Stenz, officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery
