Thwing, Bernice (24 Sep 1924)

A very quiet but pretty wedding took place at the M. E. Church Wednesday morning Sept. 24th, 1924, at ten o'clock, when Miss Bernice Thwing, daughter of Mr. Wm. Thwing, became the bride of Mr. Albert Ehlert, son of Mrs. Charles Ehlert. Rev. James officiated.

The bride wore navy blue canton crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses. She was attended by her friend Miss Sybil Walls, who wore navy blue broadcloth twill and carried an arm bouquet of red roses.

The groom was attended by his brother, Otto Ehlert.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Otis Stowe of the town of Beaver. The color scheme of pink and white was carried out.

Both young people are well known here and have a large circle of friends who extend their best wishes and congratulations.

Mr. and Mrs. Ehlert will make their home on the old Dorn farm south of Loyal, which Mr. Ehlert has rented.
