Bauer, Irene (16 JUN 1925)
A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Balthasar's Catholic Church on Tuesday morning, June 16th, 1925, when Miss Irene Bauer became the bride of Mr. Albert Froeba, Rev. Joseph F. Stenz performing the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a pretty gown of white canton crepe and wore a pearl wreath and veil and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Miss Loretta Bauer, sister of the bride and Miss Emma Bernam were bridesmaids and wore dresses of peach colored canton crepe. Mr. Edwin Froeba, brother of the groom and Mr. Oscar Bauer, brother of the bride were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride, where a wedding dinner was served to immediate relatives only.
Both parties are popular young people. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bauer and is a young lady of many fine qualities. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Froeba and is a graduate of the University Short Agricultural Course at Madison and a young man of sterling worth.
Mr. and Mrs. Froeba left the next day for a wedding trip to Beloit, Kilbourn, Madison and Milwaukee, and on their return will spend a few weeks with the groom's parents before going to their new home where the groom will have a good position.
The Tribune extends their congratulations.
