Barth Family, Edwin
Edwin Barth was born March 10, 1895 in the Town of Fremont, Clark County, Wis. He settled on the present farm in 1921, known as the John Sweet farm, which consisted of 40 acres. He married Violet Garbush on Jan. 8, 1923. They have a foster son, Emil Masephol. In 1932 the couple purchased the Frank Waterman farm adjoining there, which consisted of 40 acres. As the years passed, they built all their buildings and retired in 1960.
Mr. and Mrs. Barth like to travel, having spent six winters in Arizona. The longest trip was 10,350 miles, end of road, Circle City, Alaska.
