Faber Family, Ludwig
Both Ludwig and Emma Faber were born in the Town of Lynn, Clark County, Wis., he being one of ten children in the Peter Faber family, and she, one of four children born to Peter and Mathilda Schmitz. He worked in lumber camps, and learned the carpenter trade. He bough 40 acres in Fremont Township, Clark County in 1914. After their marriage in 1917, they worked together at clearing the land, and in 1932 they purchased the balance of the 160 acres now owned by their only son Norman. They retired in 1964 to a home in Chili where they both enjoy the healthful, outdoor exercise of working in their large garden.

I am looking for information about Geniveve Faber Verhasselt(Phlox, WI). She is my husband's grandmother. We were close. I want to know more about her life. I used to travel to Clark CO. and she was always so very interested in my visits. Grandma is gone now, but I feel I need to now understand why she was always so needing to know about the "happeings" in Clark CO.
