Miller, Edna (9 OCT 1893 - 30 May 1918)
The sad news of Mrs. Ed Miller death cast a shadow over the community, for the most of her life was spent among us. She died at Marshfield Hospital Thursday morning, May 30th, following a serious operation, at the age of 24 years 7 mo. and 19 days.
Edna Judd, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Judd was born at Rubicon, Oct. 9, 1893. She moved with her parents to York, Clark Co., in 1900, where she lived until her marriage to Ed Miller, which occurred May 13, 1913. Since her marriage she has lived in Loyal. She leaves to mourn her husband, two small sons, a mother, three sisters, three brothers besides other relatives and a host of friends.
The deceased was of an affectionate disposition so that friendships circle was to her a large one. She was one of the Charter Members of the Catholic Knights of Branch 257.
The funeral services were held at the Catholic church Monday morning June 3rd Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating. She was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
