Ben Miller’s house has been given a new coat of paint by G. L. Stillman. Oscar Wells left this week for Cannisotta, S. D., where he will make his home. W. O. Fowler arrived home Saturday night, having completed his extra work at the university. Fred Sawyer, who has been employed in J. F. Creviston’s shop, returned to his home at Stratford last Tuesday. Mrs. Ellen Wilson, who has been making her home with her son James the past year, returned to Green Bay the last of the week. H. A. Sparkes is painting J. C. Henning’s place. Rev. W. B. Good is having a visit from his mother from Alberta, Canada. During the storm of Sunday night lightning struck the home of Geo. Iffland in Houghtonburg but no damage was done. H. D. Head took his adopted daughter to the hospital at Eau Claire last Tuesday morning to have her eyes treated.
