Betz, Bernie (1883? - 22 Sep 1926)

Mr. Bernie Betz died at his farm home on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, 1926 after a long suffering. The cause of his death was due to a fall from a barn which occurred seven years ago, injuring his back. His wife preceded him in death eight years ago, at which time they resided at Sparta. The deceased was 43 years of age at the time of his death.

Mr. Betz is survived by four sons at home, the oldest being nineteen years, his father and mother who reside at Black River Falls, also three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at St. Balthasar's Church at Loyal on Saturday, Sept. 25th, with Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating. The body was taken to Sparta for burial.
