Degen, Alice (MAY 1916 - 29 Dec 1926)
Alice Degen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Degen, died at the Exeter Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 29th, 1926, at the age of 10 years and 7 months.
Little Alice took sick with typhoid fever abut ten days before she died. Her parents and one sister, Ethel, 6 years old, survive.
Services were held at the home of Oscar Peewson at Exeter, Rev. LeRoy of Stratom officiating.
The remains were shipped to Loyal, Clark County, Wis. and on Monday, Jan. 3rd at 2:00 p.m. services were held here. Interment was made in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Fred Degen, William Degen, Frank Degen and August Witt.
Miss Alice was of quite a disposition and was very bright in school. She will be missed greatly by both her relatives and schoolmates.
The Tribune joins with the many friends of the bereaved in extending their heartfelt sympathy.
