Mr. Edward Rahm passed into the great beyond last Tuesday, Aug. 9th, 1927 at his brother, Charlie Rahm's home.
The deceased was born March 5, 1864 in Bavaria, Germany. He came to this country with his parents and brothers in 1881, locating at first in Sheboygan Co., where they lived about one years. Then they moved to this vicinity (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), where he was married on Jan. 7, 1899, and lived her with his family until the year 1913, when they moved to the state of Ohio. Even after that the deceased always spent a number of months during each year with his brothers in this vicinity, especially in the later years.
The deceased had been ailing for some time, gradually growing worse till about two weeks ago, when he was confined to his bed where he passed away last Tuesday p.m. at 2 o'clock.
He reached the age of 63 years, 4 months and 4 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and four children, one preceding their father in death, two brothers, one sister, six grandchildren and many friends.
The funerals services were held at the Veefkind Lutheran Church on Friday p.m. Aug. 12. Burial took place in the Veefkind Cemetery.
The many friends of the bereaved extend their heartfelt sympathy.
