Severson, Curtis (1839? - 17 Augl 1927)

The death angel called at the Clark County Poor Farm Wednesday morning and called home Mr. Curtis Severson, who spent his last years there. He was past 88 years of age.

His earlier years were spent near Greenwood, where he will be well remembered. Most of his family has passed on. One sister and three daughters remain. The sister, Mrs. Carrie Johnson of Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., and the daughters, Jennie Richelieu of Owen, Stena Lyle, Spokane, Tena Soules, living out west, and many grandchildren are left to mourn his loss. Those who attended the funeral from away were Mrs. E. R. Cole of Beloit, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Severson of Loyal and Mrs. August Stabnow of the town of Beaver.
