The Rev. James J. Logan officiated at the nuptial ceremony October 1 at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, where wedding vows were made by Miss Constance
Sue Stutte and Michael Francis Sterwald, both of Oconomowoc, whose parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stutte, Route 1, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sterwald,
Oconomowoc.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents during nuptials for which music
was provided by Jody Dahlby, organist, and Sharon Schoonover, Diane Anderegg and
Judy Zettler, vocalists.
The bride had an ivory bridal gown and a wreath of ivory roses, pink wildflowers
and baby's breath securing a floor-length veil. In her cascade bouquet were pink
and red roses, pompons and baby's breath with ivy.
Her attendants were Miss Cindy Stutte of Eau Claire, maid of honor; Miss Lori
Stutte of Oconomowoc, Miss Kim Molle of Spencer and Miss Pam Rowley of
Milwaukee. bridesmaids; and Leah Demberger, Springfield, New Jersey. and Carrie
Neureuther, Sterling Heights, Michigan, flower girls. The adult aides had mauve
chiffon dresses with sheer jackets, wreaths of mauve flowers with fingertips
veils and bouquets of dusty pink mini-carnations with ivory chrysanthemums,
baby's breath and ivy.
Mark Sterwald of Oconomowoc was best man. Groomsmen were Andy Sterwald of Eau
Claire, Mike Stutte of River Falls and Craig Finkelmeyer of Oconomowoc, and
ushering were Andy Sterwald and Mike Stutte.
The reception, dinner and dance were at the American Legion Hall, Loyal. After a
wedding trip to San Francisco, the Sterwalds will live in Oconomowoc at 835
State St.
The bride , a 1980 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1982 graduate of District
1 Technical Institute-Eau Claire, is a medical laboratory technician at
Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. Her husband. a Culligan serviceman in Oconomowoc,
graduated in 1978 from Oconomowoc Senior High School and attended Waukesha
County Technical Institute.
