Miss Sara Jane Sebold, daughter of Mr. and Ms. Francis Sebold of Route 2,
Dorchester, was given in marriage by her parents October 8 to Douglas Eugene
Blair, son of Mr. and Ms. Eugene Blair, Route 1, Abbotsford, during the ceremony
in St. Louis' Catholic Church, Dorchester.
The Rev. James F. Schaefer officiated at the ceremony for which Mrs. Bruce Meyer
played and Misses Cindy and Chris Schafer sang.
The bridal gown of organza and chantilly lace with chapel train was complemented
by a lace headpiece with veil. She carried a bouquet of tiger lilies, roses,
forget-me-nots and baby's breath in shades of pink and burgundy with English
ivy.
Miss Kris Schilling of Abbotsford, the maid of honor, and Miss Ann Peissig of
Dorchester, Miss Jenny Allmann of Colby and Mrs. Lee Blasel, Dorchester, had
burgundy floor-length gowns and bouquets of tiger lilies, forget-me-nots and
baby's breath in shades of pink and burgundy with English ivy.
Chuck Jantsch of Abbotsford was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Gorke of Athens,
Kenny Van Rooy of Colby and Joe Sebold, Dorchester, and ushering were Randy
Blair and Mike Decker.
The reception, dinner and dance were at Dorchester Memorial Hall, Dorchester.
After a week's wedding trip to South Carolina, the couple will be living on
Route 1, Abbotsford, where her husband is a dairy farmer.
The bride graduated in 1980 from Colby High School. She is a secretary for
Nikolay, Jensen and Scott's law office in Colby and for the Abbotsford Housing
Authority, Abbotsford. The bridegroom is a 1975 graduate of Abbotsford High
School.
