Hantke, Robert (8 Aug. 1925 - 3 July 1930)
Robert Hantke, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hantke of North Grand Avenue, died at Sacred heart hospital in Eau Claire, Thursday afternoon, July 3. The little lad had been in the best of health apparently until Sunday, when he first complained of not feeling well, but it did not appear serious until Tuesday when he was rushed to the hospital and operated upon at once for appendicitis. It was found that the appendix had ruptured and the condition was very serious. On Thursday he suddenly became worse and passed away at about 2 o’clock that afternoon.
Bobby was born August 8, 1925, and he nearly reached his fifth birthday. He was a bright, lovable little boy and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents and a little sister, Betty, age 2 years. The keenest sympathy is felt for the bereaved family.
The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. S. J. Lambright officiating.
