Mr. and rms. B. O Slagle, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hagie and son and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lenzkow were callers at the Geo. Strubbing home last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Short, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short and daughter and Eileen Stevens were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ole Larson and family were Sunday visitors at the Wm. Grove home.

Several of the ladies and children in the vicinity helped little Angeline Thomas celebrate her first birthday. Thursday, June 5.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Searles and daughter were Granton callers last Thursday.

The eight grades graduates attended the graduating exercised in Neillsville Friday and received their diplomas.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Slagle, Fern Bowen and Douglas and Gorden Hagie were callers at the Frank Ferguson home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Herb. Kauth and daughter were visitors at Hatfield, Sunday.

Oliver William and Alive Ferguson were callers at the Frank Ferguson home, Sunday afternoon.

Jesse Wilding and lady friend were in this vicinity Sunday.

Julius Wolfe was a caller at the Erwin Stevens home the forepart of the week.

Mrs. Wm. Groves and son were Neillsville callers, Thursday.

The Shortville Community church has been painted on the outside and redecorated on the inside.

Ed. Bowen and daughters were at Neillsville Friday.

Mrs. J. Dakins and daughter Dorothy and son Wilbur came up from Stevens Point, Friday, to attend the graduating exercises, where Dorothy received her diploma. They spent Friday night at the R. Wahlen home.

Leonard Ferguson was a week end visitor with Lewis Ferguson.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Stevens and family were callers at the Town Winters home.

Don’t forget the Sunshine Club at Mrs. Ed. Hagie’s this week Thursday. Everybody come.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Short and daughter were callers at the Wm. Groves home Monday evening.

Wm. Eschenberg of Wooster, Ohio stayed at the Otto Schroeder home Monday night.
